My Top 10

1. Packing Cubes:

First on my list for good reason! I never knew what I was missing out on until I had these sweet little things. I mean really, they make organization so much easier! And, they save space.

Yet, I found if I roll my clothes inside them I can pack so much more into the cubes. And they keep my clothes wrinkle-free!

They are soft-sided and when not in use they take up little storage space as they compress down quite small.

My cubes are from North Face however I have found similar cubes on Amazon that are comparable

Packing cubes come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. I definitely recommend that each family member has their own color cube for easy distinction of what belongs to whom.

If you only buy one item on the top 10 must-have vacation travel items it has to be the packing cubes hands down!

2. Vacuum Storage bags: These bags are amazing when packing large amounts of clothes! We used these bags when traveling to a winter destination and they were great for compressing coats, snow pants, and multiple pants and sweatshirts.

Also, these bags use a hand pump to compress down, no vacuum is needed. I am always amazed at how small these things can get!

A word of caution. If you are flying it is easy to overpack with these storage bags therefore check your luggage weight before heading to the airport.

On the other hand, if you are at all worried about clothes being wrinkled, these are not for you. Stick to the packing cubes.

3. it Luggage: Absolutely by far this piece of luggage was well worth the price I paid. Lightweight and durable. It has held up over many, many flights and road trips in the back of the truck.

4. Handheld Luggage Scale: Some may say this is a silly travel must-have yet it has come in handy when flying on those select airlines that only allow 40 pounds.

Let me tell you, I am too frugal to pay overweight fees so this handy scale comes along when weight restrictions are tight.

5. Leak Proof Bottles: I don’t know about you but I have tried so many travel bottles and they all leak at some point. I always double bag everything!

Without a doubt, these bottles have yet to let me down! Flip cap with 3 leakproof walls and drip-free valve! They are made with super flexible silicone and what is even cooler…they are 100% BPA-free food grade silicone so you can use them for food!!! Genius!

TSA-approved 3 oz bottles, don’t mess with TSA am I right???!!!

In other words, throw them in your Amazon cart!

6. Toiletry Bag: This is essential when traveling. My teens all have their own “bathroom bag” as we call it. I couldn’t imagine all the “bathroom essentials” all over the bathroom especially in a camper, there just isn’t room for all those things to sit out. Ugh!

Of course, I love the hanging hook. It’s a must so everyone can hang their bag on hooks in the bathroom and it’s all right there in one spot when they need it.

7. Charging bank: If you have teens or spend a lot of time on your electronics while traveling I know you have probably worried about batteries dying. Well friends, worry no more! Put this in your cart and worry no more!!!

This little power gadget will charge an iPhone 4 times, Samsung 3 times, and an Ipad once. Dang!

And another important feature for me is it’s splash resistant (think beach or pool), drop resistant, and dirtproof (think mountains/hiking).

8. Air Pods: This is an item my kids and I disagree on. I prefer the AirPods Pro and they prefer the original AirPods.

I prefer the AirPods Pro however for a couple of reasons. The most simple fact is that they fit into my ears better. I must have tiny ears because the AirPods kept falling out of my ears, gahhh.

Not to mention, the AirPods Pro also includes flexible silicone tips to fit most types of ears.

In addition, the thing I love about the Pro is the noise cancellation. These are great for airplanes, keeping out all the loud noises that go along with flying.

So.. want some quiet time at home? Throw these bad boys in and you got it! Ha, I am kidding. Or am I???

9. Owala Water Bottle: My favorite water bottle of all time and this family of mine has had one of everything I am pretty sure? Your family too? What is it about water bottles? Throw the rest away and get one of these for everyone in the fam.

The Free sip straw makes it super easy and quite frankly the smartest water bottle ever! You can sip through the straw or chug-a-lug with the wide mouth spout. As they say, sip or swing!

Also, I love the fact that my ice remains all day. Leakproof, flip lid, and handy dandy carry loop. Fancy!

I travel everywhere with this travel must-have!

10. Patagonia Sling Atom Bag: My teen daughters use this bag daily as a purse however it’s not just for travel purposes which makes it a travel must-have! Multi-use is so important if you are going to spend a little extra money on a product. It’s worth the cost for sure!

Hands-free crossbody bag that is great for hiking (bonus- water bottles fit inside!) or everyday use. Easy to clean with a damp cloth.
